Anyone here manufacture firearms with the permission of the .GOV for the purpose of selling?

I guess not :D In any event, I'm thinking about getting my license, so I can build cheap guns and sell 'em.

I used to work for a guy that had his Class 10. He DID manufacture weapons for a while.

Here's one for sale on Guns America. Bob Ford is a nice guy who ceased manufacture of this pistol in 1992 after Herr KLINTON banned them.

He HAD a standing order of 100, but never did want to go back into manufacturering weapons BECAUSE generally speaking, there's no PROFIT in it.

So, if you want to spend big bucks to get the ATF license, THEN start manufacturing weapons, be prepared to lose your shirt.

Call up and have a chat with Bob Ford. When he's there he is generally willing to tell you WHY he no longer manufactures weapons. Like I said, just not enough profit in it.

Rifle accessories............now there's a good place to start.

And you don't need a license (unless it involves a receiver of course). :wink:
